Claire Spooner is a professional milliner with a studio in Pateley Bridge. Claire studied HNC Millinery at Leeds College of Art & Design and has been making hats since 2008, launching bespoke millinery business “Quaintrelle” in 2010. Claire caters particularly for the wedding market but also has a love of period millinery styles. An enthusiastic tutor, Claire enjoys sharing her passion for hats through talks, demonstrations and workshops. Some feedback on Claire’s teaching: “inspirational”, “relaxed, informal, great demonstrations”, “easy to understand and help was always at hand”.
Claire runs Hen Party workshops from the North Yorkshire town of Boroughbridge, choose either fascinator-making or feather-corsage making with either a brunch or afternoon tea provided as part of your package. Great fun for all ages and no experience needed!
Claire is also available to run half-day workshops for your group/venue, making fascinators or blocking a mini cocktail hat.
