We are extremely proud that Bridget is coming back in 2018 to teach us new techniques. When you follow her on Instagram and Facebook you see beautiful items passing by. She is eager to learn us these techniques.
What to expect:
In this masterclass with Bridget Bailey she will teach techniques to give the familiar material sinamay a new life, including dying and manipulating to make delicate feathers, hand-rolling and wiring, making perfect points, and sculpting rose buds. After this class you will be able to use these techniques in your creations. The class is more about learning and understanding the techniques rather than making a finished piece. Techniques covered include:
– Wiring and rolling sinamay
– Sinamay manipulation to make flowers and feathers
– Covering a headband in sinamay
– Making fruit
You will be pleasantly surprised by what you will be able to achieve and absorb during this masterclass. Bridget is a great teacher who is generous with her knowledge and she’ll make sure that every student understands the process and is confident with each step. Even when you have no experience in millinery you will be able to attend this masterclass.
