Jane Fryers designs and makes hats for film, cabaret and fashion shoots as well as for special occasions and everyday wear. She is best known for her love of using traditional millinery techniques to make couture hats out of unusual materials. She is passionate about teaching and has recently been invited to attend The International Millinery Forum in Australia as an International Tutor.

One wool felt hood, millinery and black or ivory sinamay for one hat will be supplied by the college.
Please bring with you to the first session:
- a waterproof apron
- tape measure
- a notebook
- a box of household pins
- blocking pins
- hand sewing needles.

There will be advice given during the course regarding other materials and suggested suppliers. This may include, for example, fur felt, colourered sinamay, parisisal or other straws.
