Each student will create one fabulous fascinator using a pre-made sinamay straw base. There will be several styles and color options available. The focus of this class will be feather work and creating beautiful feather trims for accessories. Feather manipulation techniques include cutting, curling, and stripping. I will also demonstrate how to create feather flowers. Students will have the option of working with Russian veiling to complete their design.

The class fee of $125 includes all supplies, but you are welcome to bring along ribbons, brooches, buttons, feathers, etc. to personalize your design.

Previous hand sewing skills recommended but not required.
