The brim is back and there’s no better place to celebrate than the Kentucky Derby! Laura Whitlock will guide this three-day class as we re-acquaint ourselves with creating track-worthy larger-scale chapeaux. Working with buntal mats and pinokpok, we’ll learn to create these beauties with and without hatblocks, and how to use stenciling techniques to give them one-of-a-kind patterns and designs.
