Wet Felting Hat Course

October 20, 2019

Felting is a rewarding process where layers of merino wool are agitated with hot soapy water, in order to create a fabric that is both strong and colorfully exciting.

During this workshop you will not only learn about the process of felting, but will gain understanding on how to create a seamless sculptural form that lends itself to making hats, bags, and vessels.  Each person will have a fully felted, blocked hat finished by the end of the class.

Tutor: Tierre Taylor

Known for her modern, elegant style, Tierre’s work offers a flare for poise, sophistication and confidence. “Each person is a unique and special individual. Helping people express that individuality is a joy for me. I am so grateful to all those who love wearing my hats!”
