4-day all-inclusive millinery course.
Students will learn traditional hat-making skills to create two pieces: a structured hat with crown and brim, and a smaller fascinator headpiece.
The course covers the full process from initial design to final finishing, including millinery materials, tools, and techniques. Working primarily with sinamay, students will learn how to block over wooden forms and trim their hats using a range of materials such as feathers, flowers, and other embellishments.
This intensive course provides a clear understanding of professional hat-making, with each student completing and taking home both finished pieces.
The course is designed for beginners through to intermediate levels. If you have never made a hat before or have just dabbled, this course will teach you what you need to know for your future hat making projects.
