We will start with the Hat Block, the essential tool for every hat maker’s creative process.

Adi Bertacchi, the owner of Cappelleria Bertacchi, will provide you with instructions to design your own hat block. Adi will share all family’s secrets to make durable foam blocks. Once the block is ready Adi will share the felt hat making fundamentals. Adi will explain the different types of felt, steaming techniques, and blocking essentials as well as how to cut the felt and shape it. The end result will be your own classic fedora that you will decorate to your taste. Let your creativity flow. No previous experience is needed to attend this 6-day course. Adi will support you every step of the journey.
