Over the three days, Anne will show you how to make lifelike snowdrops and lily-of-the-valley flowers and their leaves—using a range of silk fabrics and air-dried clay. You’ll learn skills from preparation and stiffening of fabric, painting with dyes and shaping petals using French and Japanese heated tools. She will share her techniques and range of methods to create beautiful flowers. You’ll learn how to make different petal forms, bind stems with silk, and construct leaves.
You will leave with two or three finished flowers, the confidence and skills to create your own flowers at home, and an understanding of the intricacies of these tiny, perfect flowers.
