Would you like learn how to create your very own headpieces, fascinators… transforming them into unique jewel headresses for an upcoming event?

…or perhaps you’re passionate about hats, fascinators, headdresses and would like to start learning more about the art of millinery!

The course is suitable for beginners who want to start out in the art of millinery, for people who want to make headdresses for an upcoming event or professionals in millinery and fashion who would like to add to their skills.

On this 2-day course you will learn how to create two exclusive headpieces with Italian mesh together with other embellishments.  We will teach you how to form and shape this versatile material using different techniques;  make different leaves and flowers whereby you can create different floral compositions,  wire crystals and different embellishments and make beautiful designs which you will learn how to assemble onto a vine or headband with silk thread.

This is a completely hands-on practical learning experience  which focuses on the skills used to design these jewel headresses.

All abilities are welcome and to ensure each student gets personalized attention there will be two teachers and the course is limited to 5 students.

Belen Escacha and Geraldine Penistone have been designing high fashion, custom made headdresses since 2008 and 2012, and have trained with national and international milliners. They are both members of the Spanish Association of Milliners.

All materials are included in the price, except for glue, small pliers and spray varnish, and will be sent to you prior to the course.
