Are you hungry to learn a few unique tips and techniques that will take your millinery to the next level? Jan will be touching on these and a few more over the two days: veiling (full face & flat-veiled brim) and how to attach; fabulous fabric/wire swirls; floating feathers; and creating unique trims from straw or felt off-cuts (including how to manipulate them). You’ll bring a pre-blocked hat/demi-chapeau (straw/ felt/fabric covered frame) and we’ll work on lovely design elements and trims for it. There will be many more demos/samples than usual (perhaps most of the first day) and you’ll then choose which elements you want to perfect on your hat.
