This is a workshop on a fabric poppy of a new design made with luxury velvet.
What you’ll learn in this workshop:

❀ painting a variety of specialist fabrics with silk dyes

❀ backing petals and leaves with thin silk and lame fabrics

❀ shaping petals, leaves and the calyx with millinery tools

❀ dyeing stamens and making the poppy seed box

❀ assembling the velvet poppy corsage all the stages from the seed box to the finished brooch
