Wire Frame Crowns
Bay Willow Design Cotton Mill, 610 Elm Street, suite 110, McKinney, TXStudents will design and construct crowns using millinery wire, add trims, and cover the frame for a smooth finish. Wire frames are constructed without hat blocks and of fairly inexpensive materials. Using wire, milliners can build small headpieces, extravagant costume ball headpieces, and even hats. Once you've learned the technique, there are infinite possibilities!
