Louise Pocock Millinery felt riding hat with pheasant feather byLouise creates from her studio in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. Louise works with the freedom of fusing traditional styles and techniques with her desire for a contemporary twist in exciting new ways of bespoke making.

Personal recreational tuition can be one to one or in small groups for beginners, intermediates or advanced.

Louise teaches a wide range of millinery techniques using felt, sinamay, straw and buckram As well as finishing details such as hand painted silk and fabric flowers, ribbonwork, corsages and feather dying and manipulation.

Location is not an issue for those wishing to study millinery as Louise also runs an online millinery course accredited through the City and Guilds that is available worldwide.

Louise also participated this year as part of three person panel to review the whole City and Guilds course and is therefore extremely well placed to know personally and academically what is needed for those looking to study long term.
