Yolande Fret-Howells studied Fashion and Textiles at Trinity St David’s College, Carmarthen, as part of the course she studied millinery and first started making bridal headwear, hats and fascinators in the early 2000’s when she could not find an appropriate piece for her own wedding. Over the years hats and headwear have become a passion and she returned to study City Guilds 2 and 3 Certificates in Millinery at Hereford College. She has also studied with renowned milliners, which has allowed her to learn many of the trade secrets and gain valuable experience in design techniques.
