Learn How to Make Unique Hats With Style!

Yvonne Lewis of Hatzy Lady has taught the art of couture millinery for sixteen years through private millinery instruction, at Otis College of Art and Design, Saddleback College and by invitation from special interest groups. To help promote the art of millinery, Yvonne collaborated with the Los Angeles County Fair for five years as a millinery contest coordinator and also developed educational millinery exhibits. She recently presented an introduction to millinery workshop and a seasonal pop-up millinery exhibit with Craft in America. Yvonne continues to seek and develop exciting opportunities to promote the art of millinery.

Yvonne offers couture millinery workshops and private lessons in Los Angeles. Students learn how to hand block unique felt or straw hats using special hat making materials, wooden hat blocks/molds and old-world millinery techniques. All work is completed by hand. Enthusiasm is required, experience is not.
