On this two-day Felt Hat course you will learn how to block, shape and manipulate wool felt. You can choose to block a hat such as Fedora, Trilby, boater or any other hat style of your choice.
You will learn all basics of hat making – how to stiffen the felt, steam and stretch over a wooden hat block, you will learn how to wire a hat to ensure it holds its shape, how to curve a petersham ribbon and invisibly stitch into your hat.
