Your Tutor:
Jenny will be taking you through the content of the course and taking your individual mentoring sessions. The content is based on her experience running a successful millinery business for the last 15 years and previous experience working in the retail sector in business planning and marketing. In addition a Social Media tutor co-hosts the social media week so in depth knowledge about the subject can be transferred.
Who is the course for?
Students who want to start monetising their millinery passion. This could be as a small scale hobby business, a wholesale business or a customer facing operation.
About the Course
The aim of the course is to introduce students to all aspects of running a profitable millinery business. The first part of the course looks at your goals, your competition and your market. The second part looks at understanding your customer, your products and the service you provide. Finally the latter part of the course tackles branding, financial planning and marketing strategies. Throughout we will be sharing our first hand experience and mentoring students in how to build a successful millinery business.
Each session will have full notes which can be downloaded from your personal business log on in the business portal.
