Elisabeth Koch was the only classically trained milliner in China for 13 years. She was born to Dutch/Welsh parents and has lived all around the world; USA, Berlin, Luxembourg, London, Amsterdam, Brussels & Beijing before settling in The Hague.

Every Pink Label hat is a work of art and no two are alike. Koch’s hats and hair pieces have graced to covers of International Vogue magazines to the prestigious Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, ELLE, SELF, Numéro, Madame Figaro, Marie Claire, GQ and many more. They have been worn by royalty, movie stars, have gone to Royal Ascot, the Melbourne Cup, Kentucky Derby, polo games & weddings worldwide.

Koch has won countless awards, given TED talks, hat making presentations and demonstrations. From trade shows to fashion shows and TV shows to radio shows, she’s done it all.

Koch has given Hat Making Workshops to over 1,000 people (aged from 6 to 99!) over three continents and now offers these workshops with tea or Champagne, snacks or not, to groups in her Hat Studio in The Hague. It is a custom-made experience depending on the occasion, you will design your event together with Elisabeth. For fashion-forward hen parties, glamorous birthdays, good-bye parties or just for fun.

The Hat Making Workshop includes all materials and trimmings with expert tuition by Koch and a finished designer head-piece at the end that comes is a proper Elisabeth Koch Millinery hat box.

Parties are booked in groups. The minimum number of people we can accommodate is 6 and the maximum is 12.

The event can take place in her actual hat-making atelier in her private home (Historic Archipel Neighbourhood of The Hague) or in a venue of your choice: a hotel, wine bar, private VIP room, or in the comfort of your own home. The event lasts from 2 to 3 hours (timing can be tailored to you and can be combined with a presentation) and is in Dutch or English. All you need to be able to do is sew with a needle & thread.
