About Me

Karine Niederman is a couture milliner with over 25 years experience. She trained in Paris, both fashion and theatrical millinery. She has taught for 10 years at the GRETA de LA MODE et DU SPECTACLE in Paris .

Now hats are her passion. As well as making hats for her clients, she also teaches millinery in her Atelier in Etretat, Normandy. It is a beautiful place, with the Etretats cliffs as the backdrop to Alphonse Karr Street. Karine offers millinery tuition days or week courses all year round. Courses cover techniques with felt, straw, making pill box hats with a buckram foundation and making turbans with a Paris net foundation.

To make sure every one gets her personal attention courses are limited to 3 students. She also offers private tuition. The workshops explore millinery techniques in detail. If you have got any questions about courses send a email or take a look at her blog.
