About Me
Rachael Clunie is an award-winning milliner and QEST Scholar who creates bold, sculptural headpieces using both traditional and contemporary millinery techniques. With a background in dance and stage, she brings a strong sense of movement and drama to her work, often drawing inspiration from nature and architecture.
She runs millinery workshops and creative retreats for makers of all levels, with a focus on building solid technique, encouraging experimentation, and supporting individual creative development. Rachael is passionate about helping students reach a high standard of excellence in their work—providing clear, practical teaching alongside honest feedback and support.
As a QEST (Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust) Scholar, she’s committed to keeping traditional craft skills alive while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design. She also collaborates with guest tutors, including Israeli milliner Maor Zabar, who joins her for UK millinery masterclasses and her European millinery retreats.
