“Design the perfect felt or straw cloche hat”

This workshop offers the opportunity to make a 1920’s inspired cloche hat in either felt or straw. You will learn to construct a cloche shape hat by hand blocking and then further customize the simple shape with a hand draping technique. This workshops offers the student the opportunity to learn professional millinery techniques enabling you to make an elegant retro or modern millinery creation to suit your own personal style. This workshop will focus on the fit of the hat as well as the history of this iconic hat shape still beguiling people today. Space is limited to 4 students.
