Izzie has been teaching millinery for over 20 years. She currently teaches at the University of Washington’s Experimental College and also offers courses from her well-equipped studio in Seattle, Washington.

Izzie teaches three basic courses: Buckram, Felt, and Straw as well as a number of specialty courses such as straw braid, turbans, hand blocking, ribbon work, millinery trimming, etc. She teaches throughout the year in four-week sessions beginning each month. Upon completion of the basic coursework, students can continue on to a more individualized program. Many students have been with Izzie for over ten years and a number of her students have gone on to become successful milliners.
