Freeform Sculpting in Sinamay and Parasisal Straw

Residential Millinery Course in France The workshop will cover free form blocking techniques in sinamay and parasisal straw. The focus will be on new and exciting techniques that I have developed to enable students to create unique and individual hats without the use of hat blocks.

Focus will be on creating a SINAMAY BASE & SWIRL by following traditional Millinery techniques. You will learn how to measure, cut and design your headpiece making various design features such as swirls, curls using Sinamay. You will embellish your hat with Crinoline, beads, feathers, or just keeping things simple.
