Learn basic traditional millinery techniques to create 2 hats of your own design. You’ll be shown how to create one hat from felt and the other from straw. Steaming, blocking, stitching, trimming – all the essentials are covered in this 5-day course. On the final day we will focus on ribbon trims and cockades, which can be applied to hats or headbands. Louise Macdonald and Lauren Ritchie will be your tutors for the week.
